Vertical Splitters

TB stands for “Taglia Blocchi,” which is Italian for “Split Blocks.” The number that follows TB (600, 900, 1200) refers to the width of the splitting wedge opening, equating to the maximum diameter log that this splitter can process. TB splitters do not split one log at a time, but instead vertically splits however many logs it is presented.

TB600 Vertical Splitter

The Pezzolato TB600 Vertical Splitter is a heavy-duty automatic vertical log splitting station designed for professional firewood production. It processes round timber up to 600 mm (≈24″) in diameter, splitting logs vertically with about 30 tonnes of force to produce consistently sized firewood or kindling. The system features automatic feeding and electronic log measurement, accepts logs as short as ~50 mm for fire-starter production, and can cycle rapidly for efficient output in commercial wood processing setups.

TB900 Vertical Splitter

The Pezzolato TB 900 Vertical Splitter is a heavy-duty automatic industrial vertical log splitting unit built for large-diameter firewood production. It processes round timber from about 300 mm up to 900 mm (≈12″–35″) in diameter and heights up to ~500 mm, using a robust automatic feeding system and a hydraulically driven splitting wedge with around 40 tonnes of force to produce uniform firewood or kindling with minimal waste. Designed for high-performance commercial operations, it can be integrated into larger firewood processing lines and requires minimal operator intervention.
